Church St. Located in the recently renovated Montgomery Building (owned by Beaumont Mill owner Walter Montgomery), the Pharmacy Coffee Shop serves its own brews as well as sandwiches and other light fare.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stbdowntown.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Spill the Beans<\/a><\/strong> (174 E. Main St.) is another coffee establishment occupying the ground floor of a recently renovated building \u2013 in this case, a former department store that was repurposed as retail and apartment space.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.starbucks.com\/store-locator?map=34.949107,-81.933477,15z\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Starbucks<\/a> <\/strong>is at 156 W. Main. No description required!<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.littleriverroasting.com\/coffee-shops\/little-river-coffee-bar\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>The Little River Coffee Bar<\/strong><\/a> is just a block farther, in the Masonic Temple (which still operates as such) at 188 W. Main and is managed by the same folks who run the Pharmacy Coffee Shop, with a similar quirky, local college vibe. Located next to Hub City Books, a locally owned book store (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hubcity.org\/bookshop\">www.hubcity.org\/bookshop<\/a>) and home of Hub City Press, the Coffee Bar is a gathering spot for writers, students, and book lovers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-65-1-0-1\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor\" data-index=\"5\" ><div class=\"callout-01 panel-widget-style panel-widget-style-for-65-1-0-1\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t><h3 class=\"widget-title\">Diners<\/h3>\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n\t<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/papasbreakfastnook.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Papa's Breakfast Nook<\/a><\/strong> (191 E. St. John St.) is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is right across the street from the Chapman Cultural Center.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/theskilletspartanburg.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>The Skillet<\/strong><\/a> (435 E. Main) is a further walk from downtown, but worth it if you like tiny hometown diners.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/eggsupgrill.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Eggs Up Grill<\/a><\/strong> A few blocks further on, where you can find a hearty breakfast (551 E. Main).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-65-1-0-2\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor\" data-index=\"6\" ><div class=\"callout-01 panel-widget-style panel-widget-style-for-65-1-0-2\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t><h3 class=\"widget-title\">Restaurants Serving Dinner Downtown<\/h3>\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n\t<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cribbsonmain.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Cribbs Kitchen<\/strong><\/a> (226B W. Main St.) is owned by a family originally in the peach farming business. Walk-ins, groups, indoor and patio dining available for lunch and dinner.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.limeleafsc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>The Lime Leaf<\/strong><\/a> (101 E. Main) prides itself on inventive Thai fusion. Located right in the heart of downtown Spartanburg, the Lime Leaf offers a variety of dishes, including a wide selection of vegetarian fare.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/miyakosushigroup.com\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Miyako Sushi Group<\/a><\/strong> (118 Magnolia St.) is a comfy Japanese eatery offering a sizable selection of traditional dishes &amp; specialty rolls.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pokenori.co\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pokenori<\/a><\/strong> (119 N. Church St.) is the first Hawaiian Pok\u00e9 restaurant in the Upstate, with a delicious take on sushi.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mezcaldowntown.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mezcal Taberna Mexica<\/a><\/strong> (141 W. Main St.) serves an innovative a range of tapas styled fare, not to mention some extraordinary desserts.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/sidewallpizza.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sidewall Pizza<\/a><\/strong> (187 N. Church St.) is just a short walk from the Marriott Hotel. Like the Pharmacy Coffee shop, it is on the ground floor of the recently renovated Montgomery Building. The building has strong historical ties to Spartanburg's textile mills, and Elvis once performed in its theater!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-65-1-0-3\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor\" data-index=\"7\" ><div class=\"callout-01 panel-widget-style panel-widget-style-for-65-1-0-3\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t><h3 class=\"widget-title\">Breweries<\/h3>\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n\t<ul>\n<li>Spartanburg boasts two breweries downtown. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ciclopscyderiandbrewery.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ciclops Cyderi &amp; Brewery<\/a><\/strong> is across the street from the Montgomery Building, and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/rjrockers.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">RJ Rockers Brewing Company<\/a><\/strong> is at 226-A West Main St.<\/li>\n<li>This would also be a good place to mention the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fr8yard.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>FR8 Yard<\/strong><\/a> beer garden at 125 E. Main and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.growlerhaus.com\/spartanburg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Growler Haus<\/strong><\/a> at 113 N. Church St.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-65-1-0-4\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor\" data-index=\"8\" ><div class=\"callout-01 panel-widget-style panel-widget-style-for-65-1-0-4\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t><h3 class=\"widget-title\">Restaurants Farther Afield<\/h3>\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n\t<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eatatwades.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Wade's<\/a><\/strong> (1000 N. Pine) is a local establishment that's been thriving for decades. It serves real Southern food in a down-home environment. Wade's is located halfway between downtown and the USC Upstate campus.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/restaurantwebx.com\/IkesKornerGrill\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ike's Corner Grill<\/a><\/strong> (104 Archer St.) is less than a mile from Beaumont Mill, right in the heart of the old mill neighborhoods. Sporting an authentic roadhouse architectural style that hasn't changed much in a long, long time, Ike's is a popular spot for burgers, fries, and a side of slaw.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.willytaco.com\/the-lowdown\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Willie Taco<\/strong><\/a> Tequila Cocina is about a mile from downtown at 930 E. Main Street. The five guys who founded this place take tacos very seriously, but they have a pretty good sense of humor about most other things.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-65-1-0-5\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor panel-last-child\" data-index=\"9\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t><h3 class=\"widget-title\">More!<\/h3>\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n\t<p>This listing is only a sample of places to eat, drink, and relax in Spartanburg.
